Helical Advantages in Countering Unmanned Aerial Systems (CUAS)

Most drones have linearly polarized (LP) antennas, so when the controller and counter drone antenna are LP (eg. stick, Yagi, or Log Periodic), any pitch or roll will often misalign their signals. The signal strength of LP to LP antennas when perpendicular loses 20dB.

With Wade’s helical circularly polarized (CP) antenna on your CUAS, the maximum signal loss with the drone’s LP antenna is only 3 dB at any orientation, making the connection consistently much stronger.
