TACO Antenna is a division of WADE Communications Inc., a Canadian manufacturer specializing in advanced antenna and communications infrastructure for mission-critical applications.
Founded in New York State in 1934 as Technical Appliance Corporation, TACO built a global reputation for high-performance VHF and UHF antennas. For decades, TACO antennas have supported military, naval, aviation, government, and critical communications where reliability and performance are essential.
In the early 2000s, WADE Antenna Inc., a Canadian antenna and tower manufacturer established in 1952, acquired the TACO Antenna brand and consolidated its operations in Brantford, Ontario. The acquisition brought together decades of antenna engineering and manufacturing expertise while preserving the TACO name and its established legacy.
In 2026, WADE Antenna Inc. became WADE Communications Inc., reflecting the continued evolution of the company and its family of specialized brands.
Nearly a century after its founding, TACO Antenna continues to stand for reliability, durability, and performance.
